*The old Light Pad has a different cord. It is not compatible with the new one. The old Light Pad (black) is now phased out. Now we only have two pads: Novaa Light Pad and the Light Pad XL.

*We only have ONE Light Pad, the Knee Pad and Healing Pad are the same.

  • The Novaa Light Pad is perfect for large, hard-to-reach areas like the back, shoulders, abdomen, legs and arms, etc. Size is 16.3" x 7.9.
  • Medical Lights: 300 x Infrared 850 nm lights + 150 x 660 nm lights for a total of 450 light chips.
  • Normal usage is 20 minutes per area, once a day or twice a day for accelerated results.
  • It is flexible, it has velcro so it can be used as a belt and can hold up to 52 inches at maximum. You can wrap it around your feet, legs, arms, hands, etc. It's okay for the lights to overlap. You can lay on top of it while you use on your back or better yet lay flat on your stomach and the pad will be on top.
  • You can use the Light Pad by plugging it into a wall socket (It has a universal voltage so you can use it on 110-220V) or by using a power bank. The power bank is not included in the package, and we don't sell it. However, you can use any USB power bank (5V/2A USB power bank with 20,000 mah or higher). You can buy the power bank at the mall, on Amazon, or at Walmart and Best Buy.

WHICH FREQUENCY TO USE? - You can adjust the frequency from steady to pulse mode (1-999 hertz). 1-10 hertz can feel hotter than increased frequency. Pulse mode has better absorption of the light by the tissues while heating less. Targeting pain works in pulse mode in 2 hertz (just like in the old pad) and if you want healing to improve, try 40 hertz. Static mode delivers more irradiance output. Both modes are efficient. You can try both modes and choose the one that works the best for you. There is not a mode that goes deeper than the other, but some people reported having better results with the blinking mode. You can try as people respond differently to these modes.

POWER/INTENSITY - You can also adjust the power/intensity of the lights. If you use low intensity, you can use it longer since it will not get hot.

PAD IS NOT GETTING WARM/HOTGetting hot is not a feature of the pads, so we don't consider this as an abnormal behaviour. Also, you still can get all the benefits from your pad.

PAD IS GETTING TOO WARM/HOT - Lessen the intensity and increase the timer. Ex: 80% intensity power and timer is at 25 minutes.

WHICH LIGHTS TO USE? - For optimum results, use both frequencies, red and infrared. Red light and near-infrared (NIR) light have different functions. Red light is effective for skin issues, hair growth, and wound healing. NIR, on the other hand, penetrates deeper and is mainly used for conditions such as pain relief, muscle healing and recovery, and cognitive health, to name a few. If you feel a little discomfort, give your body some time to adjust to the therapy. You can start first by using RED only frequency and then infrared only and then you can use both afterward.

EMF? Zero.
